Since returning to DFW and turning her focus primarily to musical theatre, Megan has performed with many companies across the metroplex. Her favorite recent roles are Morticia Addams in THE ADDAMS FAMILY, Anita in WEST SIDE STORY, Sarah Brown in GUYS AND DOLLS, and Dorcas in SEVEN BRIDES FOR SEVEN BROTHERS. As a teacher, Megan is skilled in working to optimize a singer’s individual sound and ability, across a variety of musical genres. Her teaching philosophy is rooted in the belief that every singer has a story to tell and every person can be a singer. She strives to give all performers the foundation to create a dynamic character with a confident voice. Her students have performed locally at theaters including Lyric Stage, Casa Mañana, Theatre Arlington, Granbury Theatre Company, and Plaza Theatre Company, as well as in New York City with iTheatrics and Steps on Broadway Conservatory.
