Substitute Instructor

Natalie Hope Johnson is an actor, singer, and improv artist in the DFW area who has performed for audiences throughout the DFW Metroplex and the north Texas region. In addition to her work onstage, Natalie is a member of Izavibe Dance Crew and on the regular cast of the “Unending Stories” streaming community, where she plays D&D with other performers from all over the United States. She spends whatever time is left over cosplaying at various conventions and transcribing her favorite Korean pop songs into sheet music.

Natalie’s art career began in Wisconsin in the late 90s as a member of First Stage Children’s Theater (now First Stage Theater Academy) and continued as a section leader of the Milwaukee Youth Symphony Orchestra Wind Ensemble. Despite pausing most of her personal artistic pursuits to complete a business degree from the University of Northern Iowa as a D1 scholarship athlete, Natalie continued her work as an actor through voice acting and providing support to the university costume department for their annual show. Since moving to Texas, Natalie’s recent credits include include Lucy Westenra in Dracula (Theatre Three), Mrs. Ravenscroft in Ravenscroft (MILC), Jane Netherfield in Suckers (Imprint Theatreworks), and Poopay/Phoebe in Communicating Doors (Runway Theater). As of 2019, Natalie is a member of the Actor’s Equity Association.
